About The Quilt
4x4 ft Barn Quilt – West Trail

This barn quilt represents the beautiful colors of our nature oasis. The browns are the soil, greens are the trees and brush, the summer cattails in the swamp, and the hint of blue is the water. The oranges represent the sunrise and sunset.
A fabric prototype was sewn in 2012, with fabric selected by some of my quilter friends while on a sewing retreat. We chose a simple block and carefully selected just the right colors to pay homage to this property and all its peace and splendor.
