About The Quilt
4x4 ft Barn Quilt – East Trail
Note: This quilt is located at 7154 York Rd, but is viewable from 11211 Perry Rd.
At one time, the owner’s son had llamas and showed them at the Orleans County Fair as well as the New York State Fair. The llamas won many ribbons, particularly in the obstacle courses. Lynne Belluscio painted the colorful 4 x 4 barn quilt and the owners painted a smaller 2 x 2 barn quilt at a workshop at LeRoy House. The smaller barn quilt is displayed on a shed on their farm. In 1995, the Fuests bought a huge cornfield and had to clear stones and thistles from the land before they could build their house and barns. This past year, when a tornado touched down in Pavilion, a local television station filmed the barn with the barn quilt.
