This patriotic barn quilt was painted for Tim Hens who owned the building. The design is a composite of nine barn quilts in LeRoy. In the center is “Star of Hope.” Directly above is “Veteran’s Pride” and directly below is “Amelia Earhart.” Two other patterns, “Dash Churn” and “Tilted Triangles” are easily identified. The patterns are surrounded by “Flying Geese” as a reminder of the Canadian Geese who make LeRoy their home.
