4x4ft Barn Quilt - Village Trail
This barn quilt represents Ingham University in LeRoy which was the first women’s university in the United States to grant a 4-year degree. It was founded in 1837 as a female seminary by Emily and Marietta Ingham. In 1857 it was granted a university charter from the New York State Board of Regents. Gardens on the campus were known for white climbing Ingham Roses. This barn quilt was painted by Candi Bower.
