In 1962, William and Irene Miller purchased 100 acres on North Road to milk cows and raise crops and forage. Unfortunately, in 1963, the dairy barn burned. The barn that the barn quilt hangs was built in 1974 as a machine shop and storage. The Miller family was known locally for their collection of antique tractors. They also were very successful at local tractor pulls. The barn quilt was painted by Kathy Frazer.
